    Besides the “fly fishermen hatch” I found on the river I also found signs of other visitors....Click image for larger version.

    I have seen bear tracks down below Sycamore take out.

    I found these on the island. Guess the salmon bring them around.

    Indeed, this is fairly common in the fall. I think that SYRCL (or the utility) has cameras down by the Deer Creek inflow and has caught them on camera feasting on salmon during the night many a time. Jon Baiocchi had some screen grabs from the cameras in one of his presentations if I recall correct.

    Wow! That low. I see bear tracks and scat all the time above the bridge, but not down that low. Very interesting.

    I'm pretty sure I saw a baby bear that was hit a few years ago right outside of Marysville where it turns to 55mph. I doubted my eyes until reading this
