The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe has finally released the date. Monday November 2nd will be the opener for the 2020-21 fishing season. The news comes after months of closure to the general public due to Covid 19.

There is a ton of good information on the opener including a fishing forecast, where to get permits, how to buy flies, and restrictions regarding the opener in conjunction with the Covid 19 emergency order still in place on the Reservation.

Thanks for the info Bill. Folks need to realize when they are planning to go to Pyramid that the daily permit fee has been increased by 100% to $24 per day. There are no annual permits. Also there are only two ways to secure a permit at this time: on line and at the Ranger Station at the lake.
