Thanks Bill, check this monster out that Dennis Braid caught, 130lbs. My largest was 70lbs. This one that is giving me fits is bigger.

Don......OMG.......that is insane..........My friend says the big ones, like your 70#er, fight harder than a Tarpon that size.

Most 50# salt water fish are pretty amazing.......

All very interesting, but were ANY of these fish caught on Fly?
P.S. IMHO the weight of the fish in the first image is questionable.
P.P.S.I hate pics of dead fish

I agree with you 100%....if they aren't fly caught why are they even on shown on a fly site?

    Question Fly Caught??

While I understand the idea, this Bulletin Board or Forum has allowed photos/videos of non-fly caught fish over the years. Recently, photos of Crabs/parts. Not a problem until Bill decides whether to stop the practice....

Carl you actually posted a youtube about Dennis Braid's catch back in 2018. That is where I learned about it.

    Mems,

You are 100% correct. In one subject we were talking about size, on this subject I thought we were talking about fly versus bait.
