    Default Federal parks are closing?

I guess the public needs to clean up their act?

The bit of camping we have done this year we have been extremely disappointed to see the level of carelessness and laziness of other campers. Disgusting amounts of TP gardens, and trash...but the real kicker has been how many abandoned campfires. We personally put out 3 this summer (despite not doing nearly as much camping as other years) and all 3 were still going strong with very large chunks of burning wood and plenty of dry fuel materials nearby. All 3 were during extremely hot and dry weather conditions with no sensible reason for a fire in the first place, but to leave them going was completely reckless and lazy! These are exactly the kinds of behavior that close down access for us all.

I guess the homeless litter is bad but mostly near towns and cities?

This definitely wasn’t at all related to homeless, though I imagine that will probably also become an even bigger problem too. These were left by families (teaching their children poor ethics and lack of responsibility) who appeared to be at least middle class level wealth...in other words probably educated enough to know better I would have thought?!?! To be honest, I’ve always found it hard to understand the thinking of people who would spend the time and money to go out and play in beautiful places .... and then trash them? Not a new issue, of course, but there sure seems to be a lot more of that right now.

Scumbags!! I witnessed this up in the Sierras a few weeks back, a lot of immigrants. Leaving diapers and trash yelling at them to pick up their $hit and they play it off like they don't speak English. Maybe popping a few rounds off will get their attention next time. So tired of where this country is heading

The sign isn't a real government sign. They used to be for sale.
