Very solid reel, just cosmetic scratch’s. Bill Archuleta just went through this reel. No cracks ,wobbles or end play.

Just in time for trout spey season

Right hand wind or right hand crank only.

What size single hand rods would it fit?

Oops, thanks Bill! It’s a 3 3/4” rated for 8/9 single hander but I would definitely use it on a 10’ 6wt just because it’s a light reel. As for right/left hand, it is designed for a right hand retrieve do to the agate line guard, but has the check system that will work left or right hand.

I would buy it for a nice Trout Spey or Switch rod.......I only like smooth click-n-pawl drags for trout and steelhead.

That reel is a piece of English/American fly fishing history.......good karma.
