    Default Fuller lake update

FYI - Fuller Lake access points are closed but plenty of bank fisherman are walking to the dam and day use areas to fish. The area closest to the dam is closed but accessible by foot from the road for all you float tubers.

I hit it around 10 this AM and managed two decent holdover browns and a bow. Fishing was slow. Trolled my clear camo line while back peddling my float tube and tugging to give the fly some movement wherever I saw rises. Used 4x fluoro and a #18-20? brown soft hackle below. No luck with sheep's creek, wiggle nymphs or anything larger than a #18 hook. Lots of midges everywhere, black ants on the rocks and some flying beetles. Fishing has been slow and no kids/bankies catching anything on power bait/worms, so I am presuming it hasn't been planted. No inflow upstream at the inlet either.

Thanks for the report. Hard to find stocking info from the state simce it’s basically shut down. Fuller is always tough without the inflow too. Sounds like you had fun no matter the numbers anyway
