Default Beaver Creek, Big Trees and Sourgrass areas

Any of the Big Trees, Beaver Creek and Sourgrass areas open yet?

Looking at hitting North Fork of the Stanislaus river this weekend.

I’d guess they’ll all be really high this early in the season especially with the late snow we had.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy new fly fishing gear and that usually does the trick.

Showing 650 CFS at Avery this morning. A little high but not raging. Probably not great fishing though.
There are few things in life more pleasing than the sublime marriage of form and function that is found in a well crafted fly rod.

Along with higher flows, access could be an issue. The USFS has extended the seasonal road closures until June 30th in the Stanislaus district. Sourgrass appears to be the only so called legal access to the NF Stan. Attached is a article from Pinetree.com showing closure maps and a attempt to explain the justification for such closures. Big Trees state park is current closed and no reported date of reopening is forecasted.
