Default Went out with Steve Potter today..........in Florida.

Steve and his wife Lynda have sold their home in California and moved to Vero Beach, Florida 30 minutes south of me.

Steve hired on of the top fishing guides in this area, Eric Davis, Backcountry Outfitters.

Steve invited me to go out with him and Eric today......so cool.

We had some sprinkles but is was beautiful out there in the inter-coastal, the famous Indian River Lagoon with is over 100 miles long.

We missed a small Tarpon, caught Snook, Seatrout, missed several Sheepshead, caught Redfish and Snappers.

Redfish are all along the south east coast of the US and the Gulf of Mexico.

They are a very good gamefish readily taking flies and even top water.

When we fly fish the "Backwater" of Florida's Inter-coastal India River Lagoon we never know what we might catch.

Redfish, Seatrout, Snook, Ladyfish, Tarpon, Jacks, Snappers, Sheepshead, Baracuda, Black Drum, Pompano, Etc.

    Hey Bill,

That snook you caught is pretty nice size! What kind of setup/rig were you using to catch it?
