    Thanks Gordon.

"Copper and Black" and "Orange and Black" midges hung under a 'cator was the ticket.
Just like Pyramid only on a much smaller scale.

I'm ready to visit the "Big Lake" again next week..........................

Thanks for the report Bob. I have been so busy and traveling that I haven't been able to post my report from 2/17

Why you fish catchin' son of a gun......................................

Do you fish with a rabbits foot or a four leaf clover or a troll doll in your pocket ????

I've gotta' find you out fishing somewhere/sometime and rub elbows with you..................literally

    Nice fish in both pictures.

Donner Pass could get ugly Saturday night.

Stick 'em good if you fish,

Next weekend, as in the 8th I would love to get to Putah tomorrow but I am sure everyone is itching to get out there with the extra leap day to wait

But, since my g/f is probably also going to want to fish next weekend and doesn't like the Pyramid scene that much, we will probably end up at the T or LT on the way home, we will see.

Hey Bill, do you have a picture of your orange and black midge pattern? I am curious if the bead is orange or if that is just the thread. Thanks!

    Moi ?????

    Which one Peter ??

My "Pyramid" version is the exact same as the "Cherry Bomb" using an orange metallic bead and amber wire.

My "Trout" version uses an orange metallic bead, black thread body, and size small amber wire.

My camera battery is dead right now......if you need a pic I'll re-charge it then post the pic later.
