    Default Yuba windy Yuba!

Only window this week was Sunday, so hit it in the wind.

Howling much of the day, had a good time but there was no love for the stones, I'm gonna blame it on the full moon and the wind.

Wasn't me, no way, it couldn't just be me!

Thanks for the handoff bob I’m sure your buddy will enjoy the warmer weather at least!

No soup on the way home, maybe I need to start packing a thermos. Even with the wind it wasn’t really cold.

One small hookup on a dry late in the day made it at least bearable.

I've fished it 7 of the last 10 days. 3 of those days were skunks. 7 fish landed for all that. I've found good looking water with rising fish but I think they're wise with heavy pressure. It's hard to resist dry fly action with beautiful springlike conditions but dang!!!
I could use a few more grabs!

That is a nice looking fish Dave

I tend to agree, there was a lot of good looking water that just felt like it's been flogged...

It was perfect weather on Sat, but not much love from the trout that day either. Lot's of skwalas, midges, some caddis and PMDs were hatching too, but the rather few rises appeared to be exclusively for natural stones. No interest for swung streamers either.
