    @Willies99:

    This'll be rod and the case only. I had paired with a Sage (I believe it was an "old" 3580) reel with the line, but with all the moving and deployments; it has become lost. I've been on a Crappie craze the last few years and thought this should go to someone who could put it to good use. My understanding is the series isn't made anymore?

    Is this the second version? The green Bass II? What year was it new? Can you post a photo?

    Marilyn and I have 4 of them......Sage Bass rods.

    LMB, LMB II, SMB and BlueGill........

    I think they were designed for mostly top water, accuracy at short to medium distances.

    Many use the LMB in the confined salt water Mangroves of the tropics.

    It is hard to find a shorter #6, 7 or 8 line rod unless it was designed for top water bass or Mangroves.

    I have an 8'6" #6 TFO 2 piece with Rio OBS 6 floater for medium size bass bugs.
