    I have never been to Melones but heard it was a good lake.

    Will have to go there this spring......

    I'm with Yubaman. With the clothing afforded us these days I actually don’t mind fishing inclement weather. There is something about standing in a river swinging flies while it’s raining/snowing. Especially when it is snowing… everything gets so quiet. I prefer more of a Tennessee Whiskey myself but they both warm ya up from the inside!

    I sure feel older than that! I am definitely getting a little more thin skinned these days. I imagine the hair is gonna start falling out here pretty soon. Gravity is already taking effect in the mid section...... Hey! Only a few more months and I get Senior Discount on the movie tickets! So, I got that going for me....... which is nice.

    Had a great day for Spots and Crappie on New Melones last spring. Big lake with lots of fish

    That would be fun. If you hit it right you'll be able to see them and alot of them will be stupid fish which are the best kind.
