    Size 6 mainly.

    Gordon, that's a nice fly. Do you mind if I ask what materials you used? Thanks.

    PS A bad season on the Rogue is probably still better than a good season on the American.

    Hook is a Tiemco or equivalent 7999 in Size 6. Both tail and hackle are fiery brown. The tag is Uni Floss rust and the body is vinyl ribbing in light brown. Throw in a few stands of orange sparkle to give it a little flash.

    Today Rogue river veteran Al Perryman said the middle Rogue river is at about 40 degrees in the morning.

    He was switching out his floating lines for sinktips today.

    He said there are plenty of fish so sinktips, or indicators are best now.
