    Default Pyramid 10/12

I drove up Friday, got to pyramid around 8 ish.

Fished popcorn area, guy next to me was on fire. Through the day he was on fish throwing a spoon, had to get at least ten fish. I had high hopes, got a bump or two but never hooked up. Spent most of the day throwing a sinking setup, switched to an I-line right along the ledge, even made up an indicator rig.

Good times. I’ll go back soon and get it figured out.

Just noticed this/your original post was in "Classifieds".

Maybe we can get Bill to move this over to "Stillwater - Trout In Lakes".

Funny thing was after seeing what he was throwing I did just that- his pattern was a ghastly rainbow pattern that didn’t look like any trout I’ve ever seen!

So the best I had was a purple wooly bugger and a clouser in a rainbow pattern.

Weird as it sounds, it seemed the spot was hot- he left and before I could move that way, a banker came in and stuck a fish in less than five minutes. Must have been something about it!
