Unlike Steelhead, Silvers like a stripped fly/streamer. They will chase down the fly.

They also like a waked or stripped poppers/hair bugs especially when the surface is smooth in lower light.




We went to the Tsiu River, south of Cordova, Alaska for many years for fresh Silvers right out of the salt water.
