Klamath Lodging/Camping

So I've stayed at Pearch Creek Campground in Orleans and the hotel in Happy Camp. I'm headed up there next week and was looking for other suggestions. I don't mind staying at either place again but would love to hear more options. Ideally I'd like to camp because I'm kinda cheap but would love to have access to a shower. Is there any place like that around Orleans?

We've camped at the Oak Bottom campground on the Salmon River a couple times.

Hang a right at Somes Bar and it's a few miles up the Salmon.

Pretty cool campground and quiet. No showers though.

You might try Bluff Creek it may offer showers. It is now tribally owned and, from what I'm told, cleaned up from its former state of disrepair.

They have Showers & Laundry and in the Fall there is practically nobody around. I stay there from time to time.......

Klamath River Lodge about 8 miles down stream from Orleans is where Noe Fierros stayed for around 30 years.

I went there with him a few times.

It has an excellent run right down from the lodge.

It has an "Apartment" that will sleep a small group plus small cabins for 2 anglers.

I apologize and didn't realize you were looking for camping around Orleans w/ showers.

This place has showers but is temporarily closed for upgrades/remodel, so call first......Klamath River RV Park in Orleans

By the way, if you are on the cheap.....just ask other fisherman staying at motels and/or lodges, if you could use there shower.....bring your own towel. You would be surprised how many folks, approached correctly wouldn't mind sharing. I have done the same for others camping to come and use my shower......

Thanks for all the suggestions. Ended up staying at Forest Lodge in Happy Camp again and will probably stay there next time. They've made improvements from last fall.
