I hear rumors that the road to Deep Creek is still washed-out. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

Thanks Bill! A hike is always a nice bonus...
I spent three days on the Pit two weeks ago, releasing 25 rainbow trout on the second day day. Even at (only) 420 cfs Pit 4 was a beast, I fished it at Malinda Gulch and upstream of Ruling Creek to the dam. I used to camp at Deep Creek pre new flow regimen when it was about 250 cfs. A trail went upstream for four or five miles on the river's south side. if you are camping, Ruling Creek was to close at 11 AM on Sept 16, not that it matters, probably just stopping garbage pick-ups. I don't remember any way to keep people out. Big Pine access, less than half a mile below Ruling Creek is also a nice place to camp.
Thanks for the info Pearl Snaps. It looks like some good water above Deep Creek from Google but I'm sure it is tough to get around, even if the trails are still accessible (overgrowth/high water).
