Default Mid-September is the time to start heading to the Lower Klamath River!!!!!!!!!

You need a jet boat to get around and that lower river is beautiful.

Terry Thomas and friends went this last week with top jet boat guide Alan Borges.

They had a good trip with Terry landing some fresh adults to about 6 pounds.

Sam Dasher said he got some big spunky half-pounders that were 18 to 20 inches.

*You need a jet boat or you need to get a trip booked a long was out because there are not many jet boat fly fishing guides on the river.

The lower Rogue River is normally good in September and has a good road system along it so access is good with a vehicle.

For both the Klamath and Rogue rivers the StreamTime maps are dated but still the best thing to start with.

You can write information on the maps to make them more valuable every year.
