Default How many boats do you need?

    Just one more.....?

I just bought this nice used fiberglass 16' center console skiff and trailer......no motor yet.

It was used by the CA D of F & W.......?

Rated for 120 hp but I will put a new 60 or 90 hp on it.

It needs some TLC and lots of $$$$ to get it ready for Tomales Bay and the Delta.

Need a Minn Kota Auto Pilot on the bow.

Want to get a Garmin GPS/Finder.

It will be a good 2 person fly fishing boat.

*I will name her "Boca Grande".

**Having a new fuel injected 4 stroke outboard makes an old boat so much better.

"How many boats does a man need?". . . . . One more than he has.

Looks like a great set up for your intended use.

That will be a nice rig Bill. Hope you'll post progress reports as you go. Please don't put a 60 on it though. If you ain't first, you're last. All kidding aside you'll hate having anything less than a 90.

    Yes Mike,

The rule is a minimum of 80% max horse power but I like 100%.

It is rated for 110 hp and 80% is 88 hp so I think I will go for 90 hp.

    Thanks.....

Yamaha, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki and Evinrude E-Tec are all good.

The new ones are all fuel injected 4 strokes too.

I recently purchased a 16’ Klamath Alaskan with a center console for super cheap. Just had to repair the 2 stroke on it. I’ve been upgrading all parts and I’m building two casting decks. This is gonna be my delta rig.

I’ve got a Clackacraft drift boat and now this boat. All I need is the cab over camper and the dream is complete.

That is a really great boat.....

Some day when you hit the Lotto you can put a new 60 hp fuel injected 4 stroke on it.

That’s the plan. When I’m done making payments on the clacka I plan on repowering the Klamath. For now I’ve got that 2 stroke running smooth.

How many boats do I need, none. I have friends with boats and they need good crew.
