When I started working at Sports Unlimited on Arden Way in Sacramento I was in my 20s and I met these special "Outdoorsmen" who
lived in Sacramento and who had founded the local fly fishing club, California Fly Fishermen Unlimited.
They all fly fished and hunted and were from the Greatest Generation who had lived through the Great Depression and World War II.
They were all very good to us Baby Boomers and treated us like sons or nephews.
They took us fishing and showed us how to fly fish.

My good friend Neil C Hansen is not in the photo but was part of the Geezer Patrol.
