these are the best!
I run a Lee Lock on both of my boats. These hook up really well and the anchor can design makes it easy to retrieve.
They have some smaller ones. I am running the 50 pound which may be to much for a drift boat. The do have a 40 pound.

Ever think about using a chain anchor?
The spike style anchors walk on the river bottoms here in the Central valley they dont lock into rocks or sand, but they dont get hung up that badly. For chain anchors you will need a ton of chain to stop a boat, for the amount you will need, it well hang fairly deeply in the water of the back of a drift boat, and when it gets stuck its stuck, no getting it back. Great for sandy bottoms though. For our river bottoms and structures the pyramid is the best of all worlds. Surface area to stop, you dont need nearly as heavy of a pyramid to stop a drift boat as the other too. And as far as getting stuck, other than getting jammed into a log, it comes back every time.
If an anchor gets stuck at anytime and you cant get it unstuck, let it go. It can actually pull the back end of the boat underwater. I never knot the end of my anchor rope and I always have a knife handy.
