Default If it is over 100 degrees you might be in the Sacramento Valley?

After 74 summers I am beginning to dislike days over 100 degrees.

Like I said before you can go to the coast or up over 6,000 feet to get cool.

This is also the time to go into the high country back packing or take a pack trip.

At 10,000 feet you need a hooded sweat shirt around the nightly fire.

I'm headed to Vancouver Island on Saturday to fish the kelp for Kings and Coho next week! Should be a comfortable 70F.

Stoked to use the new (to me) Sage Xi3 9 weight I bought from forum member Carl, mated with a new Galvan Grip bought from Al at Kiene's last week. This should also make a good Striper rod, or baby Tarpon rod for my trip later this year to Marathon (I'll need to get a floating line for it).
