Headed for Tomales Bay again - Aug 26 through Aug 29, 2019

We have reservations at Lawson's Landing RV/campground for site #709 on the sea wall with a great view of the bay.

Past KFS employee Brett Humphrey will be next to us with his popup truck camper and boat.......yahoo.

Brett and I should be able to get lots of larger Bay/Red/Rock crabs and some halibut.

It is usually in the 60s and 70s so we bring warmer clothes.

Hard to beat cool fresh air and seafood.....

Hey Bill, never fished that area. Will a jon boat 16 foot jet sled work in that water or is it too big for a sled? Thanks, have fun and good luck fishing.

That would be fine.....it is very shelter by Point Reyes.

There are clams. crabs, halibut and Stripers in Tomales Bay.

About like fishing the Delta....

I am hoping some Delta Striper fly fishers would come there in the summer when the Delta is slow.

July, Aug, Sept should be good.......when it is 90-100 in the Valley it is in the 60s and 70s on the coast.
