Amazing how these fly clubs have evolved over the years with the new technology.

We would put out a monthly news letter that was printed and then mailed out to a list of members.


Back around 1980 my brother Dick and I were the news letter editors for the California Fly Fishers in Sacramento.

What was fun is back then we received dozens of printed monthly news letters from fly fishing clubs all over the United States.

We would read these news letter and reprint some of their article and then we would see one of our articles reprinted in there's.


Now fly clubs can contact their members instantly with emails......
