That is exciting.........

August is a hot month here in the Sacramento Valley so early AM is nice.....real early.

Sunrise is around 6:00 am and it is real nice out then.


Andy Guibord and others are getting Stripers in the Lower American River.

Go out real early and late in the day when it is smooth for top water bass.

Right now the higher elevations lakes and streams over 6,000 feet are fishing well for trout.

Over at the coast the salmon, halibut, rock fish, surf perch are all a possibility.

Half-pounders are usually coming into the lower, Lower Klamath and lower, Lower Rogue rivers now along with tons of King salmon.
