Default A nice walk made better.

My lab and I beat the heat yesterday afternoon at Dillon Beach, 74 degrees thank you. Grabbed the Beulah Surf rod and kicked off my shoes. Thank god my walk was not interrupted by bass but we where pleasantly blessed with a run in with Mr. Kiene. As I watched him cast, walk a few feet, search the breakers....cast again, it became crystal clear that this guy understands. The meaning of life and the quality sunsets he and his wife seek. Thanks for the walk Bill.

The Coast or the High Country will be good places to visit this weekend with the heat. Might be a little stormy in the mountains but still much cooler. Nice pictures.

Hopefully you made it Nick's Cove for some oysters!

Heat . . . what heat? We're headed to Thunder Valley to see Styxx and Night Ranger . . . should be down under 100 degrees by showtime at 7 pm! Time for some anti freeze.

Thirty five years ago, I was a firefighter with Marin County Fire for 5 years, at the Hick's Valley station. I know that neck of the woods pretty well.
