    Default Salmon & Chips

Ate at Lucas Wharf in Bodega Bay and wife had Salmon & Chips which neither one of us had ever seen on a menu.

Spectacular! Salmon pieces were like mini-logs approx. 1-1/4" diameter x 3" long with a very light beer batter, so not greasy at all. Plus salmon was right off boats in Bodega Bay.

Only issue: prices there were about same as in a top seafood restaurant in SF Bay Area. Salmon & Chips at $19 and Rockfish in lemon/caper sauce at $17.

We are already planning on a Salmon & Chips fry at home.

When you are on the northern Pacific coast this summer, San Francisco to Alaska, you can get fresh King salmon, fresh Halibut, fresh rock fish and fresh clam chowder.

Dungeness crab season just closed until it reopens in November.
