    Default Bass Pond Tubing

I tried some float tubing for bass today. As the tules move in the shoreline fishing gets tougher so I thought a tubing trip would be worth a try. It was nice to sit in the water for a few hours on a hot afternoon. Also nice to not get my backcast caught in the grass every few minutes. The trophies were not hiding at the bottom of the pond, unfortunately, but there were still plenty of scrappers looking for a meal.

This pond in screaming for a float tube launch.

Nice day to be in the water staying cool and yes that is an old but operable float tube.

Nice day to have a fish on.

My wooly bugger. The butt end of my rod broke off and I glued a new piece on. So far, so good.

If you are a bass right now you have two things on your mind - damsels and dragons.

I love the way he is gripping the reed.

I did not see it until I looked at the picture but he has a dragonfly in his mouth.

    Nice fish and nice picture.

    I like the green background.

Good place to stop for a soda and....

....you can go next door and spruce up your look with a new hair-do.
