    You might find a 9 footer?

    What are you planning on using it for?

    9'6" #8 in 4 pc was the classic single had Steelhead rod for going to BC.


    9'#5 in 4 pc is the top selling size fly rod but second use to be 9' #8 in 4 pc.

    I'm using this for nymphing for coastal steelhead (Elk, Mattole, Smith etc). I've borrowed one in the past but would like my own. I find that the S4 957/4 is good for the same type of fishing on the Trinity and have used one for many years. The extra 6 inches doesn't sound like much but IMHO fishes better for this type of fishing.
