    Default WTB: Sage X 591

    Looking for Sage X 591

Would also consider freshwater model, but I have a preference for the model with the fighting butt

If anyone can help, please get in touch.

Garlech, I have a first gen Orvis Helios ZG 8’6”. You can read up how it compare to subsequent models. But it’s almost like new. Has been used only handful of times.

How’s shipping to New Zealand? I know there’s a length limit to Australia. So are 2 piece rods ok?
There are few things in life more pleasing than the sublime marriage of form and function that is found in a well crafted fly rod.

    Bump

and a late response, I apologise. 2 piece rods would probably run into the same issues shipping to NZ as they do to Aus. saying that I prefer 4-pieces for storage and travelling. thanks for getting in touch.

All those smaller Sage fly rods in size #5 and #6 line came both Western grip and no butt or Full Wells and a butt.

The 591 full wells with a fighting butt was pretty rare.

I too prefer that full wells with the fighting butt in those smaller rods.
