Default Cool new (to me) thread

Per an article in the UK Flyfishing and Flytying mag, I went to Michael's in search of some metallic thread. Didn't find the one the mag recommended but I found Coats metallic by Coats and Clark. It's a couple of strands of bronze colored thread with one strand of copper colored metal wire. Or maybe it is mylar. Anyway I'm using it in an old bobbin so as not to scarf up a good bobbin, but I'm using it as the tying thread for nymphs. No need for copper wire on brassies, Copper Johns, etc!

Might have to give it a try. I see Joann and Amazon have it in various colors, too.

    Edit: Another listing -

According to them, "44% Nylon/34% Metallic Polyester/22% Cotton".
