[Cat. 2019] fFB 190050 con-bs. –A classic Winston “Leetle Feller” that makes short accurate casts on small streams where extreme care in line presentation is required. I took this rod out with a DT-4F Sylk line into a freshening breeze in the Berkeley Hills. It performed beautifully, making narrow or wide loops as required, and easy mends despite the breeze. I’ve had the opportunity to cast many fine Winston “Leetle Fellers”, including the personal rods of Doug Merrick, but this Glenn Brackett Winston was superb. I think the incremental changes in heat treatment & tapers from Gary Howells, Glenn Brackett, and Tom Morgan have made a better rod, All sections straight & full length; cork grip mildly soiled.
