    Default Road to Milton open?

I was thinking of taking the wife camping up to the north Truckee area sometime soon. Milton reservoir sounds appealing. Has anyone been up there recently? Just curious about road conditions and access. I'll probably bring my tube to see if any brownies want to come out and play. Thanks for the help.

Mark Merrill at Kienes has a friend that lives up there and told him the road is still closed. I had the same idea for a trip soon and asked.

Gotcha. Thanks for the heads up! Unless you're just saying that to keep me from crowding you at the lake...

I got high sided for a couple hours trying to go trough the drifts. Be careful because they can be hard in the morning and soft when temps warm up. That lake is cold even in July. We have never camped but wind can be a problem. I have been told the
