Like most everywhere else---mucho H2O and still getting it; Trinity out through mid-July. In a nut shell-

Trinity Lake - excellent smallmouth firing off and quality, not quantity, trout activity off creek mouths.

Lewiston Lake - Last week's hot weather and Hymenopteria (aquatic wasp) hatches enticed some hefty double digit porkers to slurp for days.

Unfortunately, recent cold weather and flow increases, to 9,000 cfs. , suppressed hatch activity and slowed fishing. Time, releases, weather dictate Louie fishing.

Grass Valley Lake, 10 minutes from shop is firing off and excellent small trout/landlocked steelhead option for float tubers seeking
semi-wilderness experience; requires a 45 minute hike.

Hope you are well and still finding time to stretch!-Herb
