    Default Bridgeport Reservoir

I have never fished Bridgeport Reservoir, but thinking of trying it out soon. For those who might know or experienced it before, especially this time of the year, what should I keep in mind? I have access to a boat.

You’ll need the boat. Best fly fishing is always at the west end where the creeks dump in. It’s about 2 miles to get there from the boat launch/marina. Find the channel and you find fish. Midges and small nymphs 16 or 18 under an indicator or an intermediate line and streamers. The channel is only 12’ or less deep and winds around amongst the weeds.
    Good luck!

That is the jackpot advise I was looking for Rich, thanks. Read quite a bit on the lake and it’s great fishing but your advise is right on from the all the info I have been able to ascertain on the lake.
