Default Martin Super Diablo Re-curve Left Handed

I have a Martin Super Diablo Re-curve Left Handed 55# that has not seen much use in some time. My son Joey and I got the bug and we practiced when we were not fishing. He out grew his outfit completely and passed it on to his older sister. We have not replaced it yet as he was busy with college. I wanted to go a more traditional route and went with a re-curve at 55# which was challenging for me as I am right handed and left eye dominant.

I'm not selling for the money. I would like to see it go to a good home get more use than it is now. This is outside my wheel house compared to fly fishing so I'm not going to put a price on it but rather see what others would suggest for pricing.

I would consider a trade for a compound bow in either left or right hand configuration of equal value. If a trade is to be considered I would prefer to do at an Archery shop in the area so both bows could be evaluated. I will include a dozen arrows as well. I will not consider fly-fishing gear in trade. Please share your knowledge even if you are not interested.

    Thanks for looking

Hi Jet, been a while. That's a sweet bow except for it being a lefty. I started out in archery with a compound many years ago and have gone the simpler way just a few years ago. I'm shooting a longbow now and loving it. There are no 60 yard shots with it though, at least not for me. Wish you well in moving this one.

Joe, sorry totally forgot about this post. I have a bit of an observation. While I don't know who told you to go with a dominant eye handed bow it just seems totally wrong to me. Traditional archery is just like throwing a ball. Do that and ask yourself what eye you used. Sometimes the pros can get in the way. I've been an archer since '79, if you want to give it another try let me know. You can shoot my right handed Long Bow anytime.

    Hi Ed,

Thanks for the offer. Joey and I have lost the archery bug for various reasons and he has since outgrown his
MicroMidas bow which he passed on to his sister. I may see if I can put it on co-signment at wilderness unlimited for store credit towards a new bow for Joey. It was more of a hobby like shooting trap and skeet. We do not harvest animals as I was never taught as a child. I did However work as a meat cutter working my way through school.

    Good hearing from you again

    Joe
