    Default Cabin fever

My cabin fever was almost severe enough to get me to Pyramid this weekend...

I haven’t cast a fly rod in water in 7 weeks. And that time, I got skunked. My last fish was on January 6. At least it was a 30” wild steelhead.

I’m Derek, and I’m an addict.

Anyone think there are any fish left in the Trinity? Might be in shape enough for the wade angler by Wednesday. Maybe I’ll need to “call in dead”.

Love all this water but...itching to get out. Somewhere.

It is time to quit that job, divorce the wife, sell the kids to the Gypsies, sell the house, get an old van, put a pram on top, load up all

your camping gear and head off to somewhere wild for the duration?

Klamath River, I5 area might be a good bet. Flows at 2k cfs and dropping. Might head up there this week.

Not a bad idea on the Klamath. I have a hall pass Saturday, we will see what I get myself into...
