    Default Foothill bass

Despite the rain, foothill lakes are punching out some good bass. Tom from Reel Anglers posted some nice pictures on his FB page this morning.

Go to Englebright and fish the steep drop offs around incoming waterfalls/creeks. You'll find em.

Also why is this thread in the trout section?

Farm ponds / stock ponds are a rare treat for many.

Over my lifetime in the fishing tackle business in Sacramento I have managed to fish some amazing small ponds.

Cameron Park Lake up Hwy 50 above El Dorado Hills is one of the best bass destinations.

You can launch small car top boats, canoes, kayaks, SUP, V-boats and Pontoon boats.

There is a small fee and it is catch-n-release which keeps it good.

It is their go to bass place for some of my good friends.
