Actually, for the Greatest Generation, these loaders were extremely popular.

I had one myself on a Ranger pickup.

They have to be set up for each different vehicle and adjusted properly.

The EIDE loader company should be able to refer you to an installed.

They work well for up to 14' boats and 200#.

Sutter Marine in Yuba City use to sell and install them?

I have an Eide boat loader and have used it for many years. It's a very, very safe and secure way to transport a small boat. I have an 8 foot aluminum boat and a 12 foot one. They go on my Eide. One advantage is that I don't have to buy and store a boat trailer. The disadvantage is that I cannot just back a boat down the launch ramp and launch with motor and all of my gear.

I've got an old pickup that I only use for fishing trips. One day when it dies, I'll buy a new pickup and put the Eide on it.

I bought one of these when I bought my 5th wheel trailer. It’s great I use it to carry my collection of prams. It’s also a hell of a buy. Someone should buy it—-you will not regret it!
