Default Mouth of the Russian River today

While at King's Sport Shop in Guerneville I heard that the bar at the mouth of the river had extended out a city block from all the sediment load brought down the the flood, so while in the area I decided to take a look myself.

    Steve,

Where are the sea lions? Guess you will be working in Guernville for a while. Does this mean you be fishing the Russian on a daily basis? How does Duncans Mills and Casini's look?

    Hey Craig,
Those lumps on the spit are fur bags. Casini's is chocolatey and high. Austin Creek is a green grey and without more rain will be green in 2-3 days. Too bad it's off limits. May hit the Gualala if time permits, but the Russian is out for a while except for real brown trout.
