That's funny....ya, the 'ol dunk....good thing today's materials retain heat. If it was
cotton, you would have been freezing.

The "sit down"....hate that one, cuz you just can't get up off yer butt fast enough,
as the water pours in. It looks and feels cartoonish.

I always bring spare polartec pants now.

I've even thought of going to a wetsuit for winter fishing for such situations.
A nice thick one like I used to wear abalone diving. Especially for places
like the Pit.

EricO someone posted somewhere (maybe here) about using a wetsuit in the McCloud to be able to swim across at will and fish opposite side seams more easily. Relatively genius if you ask me.
