    Default American River

Went out with Andy for a few hours on Thursday and caught two stellies. One was a hatchery fish about 9 lbs and the other a native 7lbs. Both were pretty fresh and chrome. Beautiful fish. Andy knows this river like the back of his hands.

I am so lucky to be able to go out with Andy once and a while.

He always has a few tips to improve something about my technique.

I know we will be somewhere that might have some action because he knows what is going on.

Andy just told me it is a good year for winter Steelhead in the Lower American River.

February can be the top month too.
