    The other is an 8' trailerboat pram. Also has anchor controls. This one is about 60 pounds.

    StarCraft is $300.00

    I will be in the East Bay, Monday through Wed, June 18-20, 2018.

    I could deliver a boat(s) then.

    Small 8' aluminum prams are really cool to fish out of because they are light and can be launched anywhere.

    Mostly for one person.

    **I was only 4 in 1949. The fishing then must have been unreal.

    I sold the Trailerboat this AM to one of the forum members, Thanks Rick. The Starcraft is still available. As to coastal fishing in the 40s-50s, Bill it was fabulous to say the least. My dad worked in the local sawmill and went on the swing shift during fishing season and went every day when it was fishable.I asked him before his death how many Steelhead he caught a season. His reply" on a good year 500-bad year 300. AS a small child I watched him land 21 in one hole, in the Ten Mile river. WE never bought a piece of meat at the store, we lived on Elk, Deer, Salmon and Steelhead.The documentary" Rivers Of A Lost Coast' which I'm a part of, points out how good it was and how far we have fallen!

    Still have the Starcraft,again good boat for someone smaller than my 240 pounds. Identical to the boat that my late friend Bill Schaadt fished out of for years. $300, about 45 pounds and very easy to pack.

    noyo55,
    Ah yes, the Ten Mile. Fished it a few time back in the 70's. Had to get permit in town and check in at the
    gate by the farm house. Talked to someone each time; never saw a face. What a beautiful, quiet stream;
    reminded me of some trout streams in Fishigan. Wish I had gotten into steelheading in the 1960's.
    Best to you, and thanks for the memories.
