As both have larger boats, and we want to get some GT's, Jubilee says we can go just offshore but stay close to the reef's edge. After going through a narrow channel and some really BIG waves we get our lines out and start to troll for whatever comes up.

Being a bit rough, we move inside and explore some calmer water and beautiful flats.

Every day starts the same after breakfast. We head out to an endless number of flats and small islands called “motu's. Get out and start wading. Looking mostly for bonefish, your eyes are strained trying to seperate wave shadows from what might be fish shadows. The bonefish being so silver and reflective make it almost impossible to discern on the white sand. But, soon enough someone yells “fish on!” and all is good.

Wading near shore often brings in trevally and other local fauna.

Again, every days starts the same till you get out on the water. Breakfast, boat ride, get out and wade, move the boat, wade some more, get out and look for something to cast too, repeat, repeat. Boring ? Not in a million years. What a pristine part of the world. Crystal clear water, hardly any people, and a never ending view of things to look at.
