    Default Retired

I finally took Bills advice and retired. In the past while working(bad word) I would fish the lower Kamath or the Trinity. With more time on my hands I can explore more waters. Maybe the middle or upper Kamath or Rouge.
I can nymph but love to swing. Where would you go. So many rivers and now I have the time.

I would be on the Middle Rogue River, the Middle Klamath River and the Lower Trinity River in October.

November I would be on the entire Trinity River and the Middle to Upper Klamath River in the Seiad Valley.

    Congratulations.....keep us posted.

Congratulations on retirement. I've got another 10 to go.... I'd go to all of them! My plan is to get an RV and post up for a month or so at a campground by a river and get after 'em! My wife and I are thinking an awesome road trip would be from California to Alaska! What better way to see the west?

Congrats!! Bump & Bill have it right. Nothing quite like staying in a comfortable RV close to a good fishin' hole for as long as you want to. The problem is that there's so many places to go!

Our own Rick Jorgensen retired and got a big diesel pickup and big trailer, loaded up everything and left a few years ago basically to fish until her can't anymore.

I will check to see what he is up to......

Rick is back in CA in Lake Co for the winter.

Hoping the Eel fishes this winter.

May head up to Olympic Peninsula Feb/March then head to the Missouri early April.

He fishes tropical salt water, steelhead and is an extremely good trout chaser.

I've been retired for 10 years and love it. Welcome to the club. If you haven't fished the upper Klamath give it a try. I still want to try the Smith River and someone was talking to me about the Chetco River last week. Ah, life is good.
