    Default Funny rod sale ad

Saw this ad on an auction site. Love the understatement..

Rod is in excellent condition minus needing a small tip segment repair.

Up here in Idaho we just cut em off at the break, glue on a bigger tip and keep on fishing.

Looks a little far down the tip section for a new tip-top...

    Mint!
"For years, every time he stopped at the house to collect his paper money, it was the same routine. The old man in the wheelchair would ask him how he'd like it if he took him fishing and showed him a few things. He always said he'd like that.
When the old man finally passed away, his wife gave the kid a box of flies. He has them today, tucked away in a closet, never to be fished."

The sad thing is if you have an old fly rod and break the tip it is a total......very sad.
