    Default American River rising to 4000CFS

    There is a surplus this year so I am not surprised to see that flows will increase.

    I do hope that DWR will at least taper down to 2500CFS by early-mid July though so that flows never dip below 2000CFS this fall.

    It does seem they have done a better job of holding water back this year but I'm sure that has more to do with lessened demands due to most reservoirs holding at near capacity and DWR's ability to dump more water faster through the new spillway.

    I still do NOT trust DWR with our fisheries or our water.
