Default TFO Deer Creek switch 4 weight

This is the NorCal swiss army knife of rods. 9/10 condition.

I've used this rod to swing for shad and steelhead and strip for stripers on the American, swing caddis wets for trout, indicator nymph with looong drifts and mends on the Truckee, strip streamers on the opposite bank of the Lower Yuba, overhead cast streamers and indicators at Pyramid Lake, and fish the surf at Monterey area beaches.

Has handled fish from 12" to almost 10 pounds.

Included are two lines sized for the rod - one Rio AFS 4/5F head (Scandi-ish) and one Rio Switch 4/5F full line (Skagit-ish).

I'm selling since I'm focusing on little flies in small rivers and creeks.

$275 for the rod and two lines.

This is a really light, good casting Switch rod for Trout and Half-pounders.

A #6 weight Switch rod is about the same power as an 11' #8 line single hand fly rod......not for trout and half-pounders.

    Hi,

It's in a box with the two lines, waiting to be unleashed on half-pounders or larger. Please let me know.

I agree Bill. But this rod is a 4 weight, and it fishes more like a light 6 weight. It's been fun to swing for half-pounders and trout.

Would you be willing to sell the AFS head separately?
