Headed up north for the week, camping at Mill Creek. I’ve found some scattered info about cutties in some of the streams that feed the Smith, but not much detail. Anyone familiar with the area?

Gregg send me a text when you get a chance and I’ll tell you what little I know
I guess there are wild Sea-run Cutthroat trout from our Nor Cal North Coast to Alaska.

Good luck! I’ve covered the PNW for the last 15 years as my sales territory, and NO secrets are more closely guarded than good sea-run cutthroat streams / beaches. But a wonderful fish when you find them!
Gregg,
Back in the 70's and 80's there was a state park employee (named Larry) who summer
guided the Smith for cutthroat. Think he started high up and used kayaks. I believe
Lake Earl has a population.
Look forward to your report.
Best,
