you think....for fly fishing? conditions almost always dictate bag sizes. bass can be super finicky....even with gear it gets tough

give it a try it next year to see how you stack up

    Thanks Debbie Downer.

We are about 25% as effective as conventional anglers so they will always always have large bags to win tournaments.

Conditions were tough but considering the history of the tournament these were some of the best bags that have ever been weighed in. Being on the water as much as I am, I was very impressed with both the number of fish caught and the size of the fish caught.

This event need to be embraced and hyped up way more than it is right now.

Two man teams per boat with working livewell.

You can sign up a non boater but I am not sure how many open seats are or will be available.

Their website has a lot of good information as well.

Ran just like a standard bass tournament best 5 fish per day all fly rods.

With an average weight of over 2 pounds to win, yeah that sounds small to me.

No thanks, I wouldn't fish this event if it was free.

Please don't talk down upon something you have no experience or knowledge about. Maybe its not your cup of tee that's fine most people have different idea's of what they like. This site alone has hundred and hundreds of people that each love a certain aspect of the fishing game. To each is their own and that is what makes the world of flyfishing great.

There are a lot of people out there that are passionate about this fishery and this event.

    Negativity need not apply.

I fished bass tournaments for years both in boats and kayaks, so you have no clue what your talking about when it comes to me.

And trust me, like I stated above, I would never fish that tournament.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
